


Queen began to form in 1968, when Brian May and Tim Staffel formed a group called Smile, then joined by Roger Taylor on drums. In 1970 Staffel left Smile, being replaced by Mercury, the following year, already as Queen, John Deacon joined the group on bass.
Titles such as "A night at the opera", "The Game", "The Miracle" and "Innuendo" made the band one of the most mythical in the history of rock.
